A 17-year-old boy presents with a head-to-toe non-blanching rash that began on his chest and spread rapidly over 3 days. Non-pruritic; mild discomfort. Low fever; recent URI. No allergies; other PMH, noncontributory. Vitals, WNL.

 

 

What's your diagnosis?

A. Viral exanthem
B. Stevens-Johnson syndrome
C. Allergic reaction (urticaria)
D. Meningococcemia (less likely with blanching rash)
