Management of Nonalcoholic Fatty Liver Disease in Adults: Guidelines for Primary Care Clinicians

Slideshow

The prevalence of nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) is high in primary care and endocrinology settings, however, there is little guidance available for clinicians regarding the management of NAFLD. For that reason, the American Association of Clinical Endocrinology (AACE) published a guideline to provide practical evidence-based recommendations for the diagnosis and management of NAFLD. In the slides below, find an overview of the various management approaches available to primary care clinicians that are recommended by the AACE for adults with NAFLD.
