It is no secret that the COVID-19 pandemic has profoundly impacted both patient and physician mental health. Although strides have been made in the US to mitigate the transmission of COVID-19, such as vaccination efforts and social distancing, the mental strain of COVID-19 will likely continue. For this reason, WalletHub recently examined the 50 states across 31 key metrics to determine which environmental factors are associated with a person's overall physical and mental wellbeing. The key metrics ranged from adult depression rate to divorce rate to amount of work hours. In the slides below, find which states ranked highest and lowest across each metric.
