“Tape-record” Skin Lesions for Active Tracking
To track the size of a patient’s skinlesion over time, place a piece of cleartape over it and outline the borderwith a pen.

To track the size of a patient's skinlesion over time, place a piece of cleartape over it and outline the borderwith a pen. Transfer the tape to thepatient's chart (with appropriate notationson the side) and compare this"tape recording" with the size of thelesion at follow-up visits.
