The latest COVID-19 data on confirmed cases, recoveries, and more from the Johns Hopkins COVID-19 interactive map.

How many cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) have been confirmed in the US?

According to the Johns Hopkins COVID-19 interactive map, as of today, June 8, 2020 at 10:41 AM, there have been:

• 1 946 144 confirmed cases
• 116 929 deaths
• 506 367 recoveries

The 5 states with the highest total confirmed cases are:

1. New York: 378 097
2. New Jersey: 164 164
3. California: 130 615
4. Illinois: 127 757
5. Massachusetts: 103 436

New York has the most deaths due to COVID-19 with 30 374 reported fatalities, followed by New Jersey with 12 176 deaths, and Massachusetts with 7316.

New York also leads in recoveries from COVID-19 with 67 544 people who have recovered, followed by New Jersey with 27 824 recoveries and Pennsylvania with 53 670.

New York also leads in number of patients tested with 2 497 842 people tested, followed by California with 2 362 218 people tested, and Florida with 1 216 158 people tested.

How many cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed globally?

Globally, there have been 7 049 649 confirmed cases, 409 821 deaths, and 3 159 326 recoveries.
