US confirmed cases of COVID-19 have surpassed 30 million; global cases have reached 125 million. We summarize more of today's data from the Johns Hopkins COVID-19 interactive map.

How many cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) have been confirmed in the US?

According to the Johns Hopkins COVID-19 interactive map, as of today, March 26, 2021 at 1:27 PM, EDT, there have been:

• 30 097 851 confirmed cases
• 547 202 deaths

The 5 states with the highest total confirmed cases are:

1. California: 3 653 819
2. Texas: 2 769 685
3. Florida: 2 027 429
4. New York: 1 825 069
5. Illinois: 1 229 806

Deaths: California has the most deaths due to COVID-19 with 58 542 reported fatalities, followed by New York with 49 836, and Texas with 47 822.

Tests administered: California leads in number of persons tested with 52 765 254 people tested, followed by New York with 43 570 161 people tested, and Texas with 20 971 296 people tested.

How many cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed globally?

Globally, there have been 125 747 004 confirmed cases, 2 759 232 deaths, and 71 262 566 recoveries.
