DiscreetUrine Strain

Article

Patients with kidney stones areoften sent home with a bulky plasticfilter cup and told to use it to straintheir urine.

Patients with kidney stones are often sent home with a bulky plastic filter cup and told to use it to strain their urine. Adherence to these instructions may be suboptimal because the filter cup is difficult to carry and conceal and can develop an odor. A more user-friendly alternative is a piece of pantyhose, which can be carried discreetly in a small zip-lock bag.
