The American College of Physicians, along with the American Academy of Family Physicians, American Academy of Pediatrics, American College of Surgeons, American Medical Association, American Psychiatric Association, and the American Public Health Association, on August 7, published a policy paper in the Annals of Internal Medicine that retierates and strengthens the collective call for immediate action to curb gun violence of any kind (please scroll down).  Â
