Mortality and Medicine: 6 New Findings

A short slide show highlights results of 6 new clinical studies that look at death, risk of death, and cheating death.

Among the leading causes of death in the United States are heart disease, cancer, stroke (cerebrovascular diseases), Alzheimer disease, and diabetes, according to the CDC.Results of several recent clinical studies add to our understanding of mortality rates associated with various types of morbidity.
