Patients Appreciate a Dictator

My patients have been more satisfied with my care and more compliant with medical advice since I started dictating my notes in front of them at the conclusion of our office visits. In addition, it is quicker and more accurate than dictating later, and it affords both patient and physician an opportunity to clarify any miscommunication.
