Changes to the ACIP 2023 Adult Immunization Schedule

The Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has released its 2023 iteration of the adult immunization schedule for persons aged ≥19 years.

Among the vaccine specific changes are updates to recommendations for influenza and pneumococcal vaccines. Also, COVID-19 vaccines have been added to the Tables and Notes sections summarizing ACIP recommendations.
