Changes to the ACIP 2023 Child & Adolescent Immunization Schedule

The Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has released its 2023 iteration of the adult immunization schedule for persons aged ≤18 years.
Among the vaccine specific changes are new or updated recommendations for influenza, pneumococcal, MMR, and COVID-19 vaccines, the last of which have been added to the Tables and Notes sections summarizing ACIP recommendations. Clarifications have been added for dengue vaccine, hepatitis and HPV vaccines and other.
