COVID-19 Update: Global Cases and Recoveries as of April 14, 2020

The latest COVID-19 data on confirmed cases, recoveries, and more from the Johns Hopkins COVID-19 interactive map.

How many cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) have been confirmed globally?

According to the Johns Hopkins COVID-19 interactive map, as of today, April 14, 2020 at 9:31 AM, there have been:

• 1 935 646 confirmed cases
• 120 914 deaths
• 464 995 recoveries

The US continues to lead with the most confirmed cases of COVID-19 with 582 634 total cases to date, followed by Spain with 172 541 cases and Italy with 159 516 cases.

The US now also leads in number of confirmed deaths (23 649), followed by Italy (20 465) and Spain (18 056). China leads in recoveries with 78 195 people who have recovered, followed by Germany with 68 200 recoveries and Spain with 67 504.

How many cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in the US?

As previously stated, there are now 582 634 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the US as well as 23 649 deaths and 44 308 recoveries.

The 5 states with the highest total confirmed cases are:

1. New York: 196 146
2. New Jersey: 64 584
3. Massachusetts: 26 867
                                       4. Michigan: 25 635
                                    5. California: 24 372

New York City, New York still has the most deaths due to COVID-19 with >7300 reported fatalities, followed by Nassau, New York with 910 deaths and Wayne, Michigan with 760.
