How many cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) have been confirmed globally?

According to the Johns Hopkins COVID-19 interactive map, as of today, April 15, 2020 at 9:44 AM, there have been:

• 2 000 984 confirmed cases
• 128 071 deaths
• 501 206 recoveries

The US continues to lead with the most confirmed cases of COVID-19 with 609 696 total cases to date, followed by Spain with 177 633 cases and Italy with 162 488 cases.

The US now also leads in number of confirmed deaths (26 059), followed by Italy (21 067) and Spain (18 579). China leads in recoveries with 78 307 people who have recovered, followed by Germany with 72 600 recoveries and Spain with 70 853.

How many cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in the US?

As previously stated, there are now 609 696 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the US as well as 26 059 deaths and 49 966 recoveries.

The 5 states with the highest total confirmed cases are:

1. New York: 203 377
2. New Jersey: 68 824
3. Massachusetts: 28 164
                                     4. Michigan: 27 001
                                           5. California: 25 779

New York City, New York still has the most deaths due to COVID-19 with 7905 reported fatalities, followed by Nassau, New York with 1001 deaths and Wayne, Michigan with 820.
