How many cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) have been confirmed in the US?

According to the Johns Hopkins COVID-19 interactive map, as of today, July 16, 2020 at 9:35 AM, there have been:

• 3 499 771 confirmed cases
• 137 420 deaths
• 1 075 882 recoveries

The 5 states with the highest total confirmed cases are:

1. New York: 404 006
2. California: 355 046
3. Florida: 301 810
4. Texas: 291 281
5. New Jersey: 176 278

New York has the most deaths due to COVID-19 with 32 427 reported fatalities, followed by New Jersey with 15 634 deaths, and Massachusetts with 8368.

Massachusetts leads in recoveries from COVID-19 with 95 390 people who have recovered, followed by Pennsylvania with 74 436 recoveries and New York with 71 782.

California leads in number of patients tested with 5 793 276 people tested, followed by New York with 4 848 525 people tested, and Florida with 2 735 953 people tested.
