How many cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) have been confirmed in the US?

According to the Johns Hopkins COVID-19 interactive map, as of today, July 20, 2020 at 9:38 AM, there have been:

• 3 774 769 confirmed cases
• 140 541 deaths
• 1 131 121 recoveries

The 5 states with the highest total confirmed cases are:

1. New York: 406 807
2. California: 386 960
3. Florida: 350 047
4. Texas: 335 257
5. New Jersey: 176 783

New York has the most deaths due to COVID-19 with 32 495 reported fatalities, followed by New Jersey with 15 706 deaths, and Massachusetts with 8431.

Massachusetts leads in recoveries from COVID-19 with 95 390 people who have recovered, followed by Pennsylvania with 76 780 recoveries and New York with 72 161.

California leads in number of patients tested with 6 286 852 people tested, followed by New York with 5 115 470 people tested, and Florida with 3 002 641 people tested.
