How many cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) have been confirmed in the US?

According to the Johns Hopkins COVID-19 interactive map, as of today, July 21, 2020 at 11:35 AM, there have been:

• 3 850 134 confirmed cases
• 141 118 deaths
• 1 160 087 recoveries

The 5 states with the highest total confirmed cases are:

1. New York: 408 181
2. California: 398 751
3. Florida: 369 833
4. Texas: 343 783
5. New Jersey: 176 963

New York has the most deaths due to COVID-19 with 32 506 reported fatalities, followed by New Jersey with 15 715 deaths, and Massachusetts with 8433.

Texas now leads in recoveries from COVID-19 with 177 871 people who have recovered, followed by Massachusetts with 95 390 recoveries and Pennsylvania with 76 780.

California leads in number of patients tested with 6 414 321 people tested, followed by New York with 5 164 812 people tested, and Florida with 3 052 106 people tested.

How many cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed globally?

Globally, there have been 14 763 911 confirmed cases, 611 322 deaths, and 8 333 387 recoveries.
