How many cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) have been confirmed in the US?

According to the Johns Hopkins COVID-19 interactive map, in the United States, as of today, July 24, 2020, at 11:35 AM, there have been:

• 4 061 925 confirmed cases

• 144 552 deaths

• 1 233 269 recoveries 
The 5 states with the highest total confirmed cases are:

1. California: 430 773

2. New York: 410 450

3. Florida: 402 312

4. Texas: 373 037

5. New Jersey: 177 887

New York has the most deaths due to COVID-19 with 32 594 reported fatalities, followed by New Jersey with 15 730 deaths, and Massachusetts with 8484.

Texas leads in recoveries from COVID-19 with 203 826 people who have recovered, followed by Massachusetts with 96 452 recoveries and Pennsylvania with 78 268.

California leads in number of patients tested with 6 778 304 people tested, followed by New York with 5 368 338 people tested, and Florida with 3 210 942 people tested.

How many cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed globally?

Globally, there have been 15 578 624 confirmed cases, 634 744 deaths, and 8 896 897 recoveries.
