How many cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) have been confirmed in the US?

According to the Johns Hopkins COVID-19 interactive map, as of today, June 18, 2020 at 8:33 AM, there have been:

• 2 163 290 confirmed cases
• 117 717 deaths
• 592 191 recoveries

The 5 states with the highest total confirmed cases are:

1. New York: 385 142
2. New Jersey: 167 703
3. California: 162 798
4. Illinois: 134 185
5. Massachusetts: 106 151

New York has the most deaths due to COVID-19 with 30 939 reported fatalities, followed by New Jersey with 12 835 deaths, and Massachusetts with 7733.

New York also leads in recoveries from COVID-19 with 69 085 people who have recovered, followed by New Jersey with 28 966 recoveries and Pennsylvania with 59 863.

New York also leads in number of patients tested with 3 111 119 people tested, followed by California with 2 997 988 people tested, and Florida with 1 485 759 people tested.

How many cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed globally?

Globally, there have been 8 375 368 confirmed cases, 449 530 deaths, and 4 096 974 recoveries.
