How many cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) have been confirmed in the US?

According to the Johns Hopkins COVID-19 interactive map, as of today, June 19, 2020 at 11:13 AM, there have been:

• 2 196 998 confirmed cases
• 118 519 deaths
• 599 115 recoveries

The 5 states with the highest total confirmed cases are:

1. New York: 385 760
2. New Jersey: 168 358
3. California: 167 234
4. Illinois: 134 778
5. Massachusetts: 106 422

New York has the most deaths due to COVID-19 with 30 974 reported fatalities, followed by New Jersey with 12 869 deaths, and Massachusetts with 7769.

New York also leads in recoveries from COVID-19 with 69 243 people who have recovered, followed by New Jersey with 29 101 recoveries and Pennsylvania with 60 979.

New York also leads in number of patients tested with 3 179 660 people tested, followed by California with 3 074 530 people tested, and Florida with 1 511 312 people tested.

How many cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed globally?

Globally, there have been 8 527 672 confirmed cases, 454 889 deaths, and 4 187 219 recoveries.
