How many cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) have been confirmed in the US?

According to the Johns Hopkins COVID-19 interactive map, as of today, June 5, 2020 at 10:33 AM, there have been:

• 1 875 402 confirmed cases
• 108 278 deaths
• 485 002 recoveries

The 5 states with the highest total confirmed cases are:

1. New York: 375 133
2. New Jersey: 162 530
3. Illinois 124 759
4. California: 122 936
5. Massachusetts: 102 063

New York has the most deaths due to COVID-19 with 30 174 reported fatalities, followed by New Jersey with 11 970 deaths, and Massachusetts with 7201.

New York also leads in recoveries from COVID-19 with 66 756 people who have recovered, followed by New Jersey with 27 231 recoveries and Pennsylvania with 51 019.

New York also leads in number of patients tested with 2 293 032 people tested, followed by California with 2 182 671 people tested, and Florida with 1 107 043 people tested.

Globally, there have been 6 675 011confirmed cases, 392 321 deaths, and 2 895 167 recoveries.
