How many cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) have been confirmed globally?
According to the Johns Hopkins COVID-19 interactive map, as of today, May 13, 2020 at 2:32 PM, there have been:
• 294 997 deaths
• 1 523 278 recoveries
The US continues to lead with the most confirmed cases of COVID-19 with 1 381 696 total cases to date, followed by Russia with 242 271 cases and the United Kingdom with 230 984 cases.
The US also leads in number of confirmed deaths (83 249), followed by the United Kingdom (33 263) and Italy (31 106). The US now also leads in recoveries with 230 287 people who have recovered, followed by Germany with 148 700 recoveries and Spain with 138 980.
