According to the

Deaths: New York has the most deaths due to COVID-19 with 32 781 reported fatalities, followed by New Jersey with 15 878 deaths, and California with 10 481.
Recoveries: Texas leads in recoveries from COVID-19 with 349 833 people who have recovered, followed by North Carolina with 105 093 recoveries and Massachusetts with 99 021.
Tests administered: California leads in number of persons tested with 8 998 353 people tested, followed by New York with 6 563 646 people tested, and Texas with 4 073 661 people tested.
