US confirmed cases of COVID-19 number nearly 4.8 million; global cases have surpassed 19 million. We summarize more of today's data from the Johns Hopkins COVID-19 interactive map.
How many cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) have been confirmed in the US?
According to the 
• 160 255 deaths
• 1 598 624 recoveries
2. Florida: 510 389
3. Texas: 484 259
4. New York: 419 642
5. Georgia: 204 895
Deaths: New York has the most deaths due to COVID-19 with 32 756 reported fatalities, followed by New Jersey with 15 849 deaths, and California with 10 024.
Recoveries: Texas leads in recoveries from COVID-19 with 323 804 people who have recovered, followed by North Carolina with 105 093 recoveries and Massachusetts with 99 021.
Tests administered: California leads in number of persons tested with 8 500 463 people tested, followed by New York with 6 298 805 people tested, and Texas with 3 944 480 people tested.
How many cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed globally?
Globally, there have been 19 160 806 confirmed cases, 716 083 deaths, and 11 605 114 recoveries.
