How many cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) have been confirmed in the US?

According to the Johns Hopkins COVID-19 interactive map, as of today, January 13, 2021 at 1:22 PM, EDT, there have been:

• 22 901 264 confirmed cases
• 382 120 deaths

The 5 states with the highest total confirmed cases are:

1. California: 2 804 972
2. Texas: 2 015 783
3. Florida: 1 503 482
4. New York: 1 170 511
5. Illinois: 1 046 030

Deaths: New York has the most deaths due to COVID-19 with 40 063 reported fatalities, followed by California with 31 162 deaths, and Texas with 30 908.

Recoveries: Texas leads in recoveries from COVID-19 with 1 595 600 people who have recovered, followed by Ohio with 648 724 recoveries and Tennessee with 579 345.

Tests administered: California leads in number of persons tested with 36 508 384 people tested, followed by New York with 27 721 577 people tested, and Florida with 17 031 970 people tested.

How many cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed globally?

Globally, there have been 91 923 640 confirmed cases, 1 969 996 deaths, and 50 812 640 recoveries.
