COVID-19 Update: US and Global Cases, Deaths, and Recoveries as of November 10, 2020

US confirmed cases of COVID-19 have surpassed 10 million; global cases have reached 50 million. We summarize more of today's data from the Johns Hopkins COVID-19 interactive map.

How many cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) have been confirmed in the US?

According to the Johns Hopkins COVID-19 interactive map, as of today, November 10, 2020 at 12:48 AM, EDT, there have been:

• 10 110 552 confirmed cases
• 238 251 deaths
• 3 928 845 recoveries

The 5 states with the highest total confirmed cases are:

1. Texas: 998 027
2. California: 981 297
3. Florida: 847 821
4. New York: 532 180
5. Illinois: 498 560

Deaths: New York has the most deaths due to COVID-19 with 33 705 reported fatalities, followed by Texas with 19 223 deaths, and California with 18 021.

Recoveries: Texas leads in recoveries from COVID-19 with 820 156 people who have recovered, followed by North Carolina with 261 719 recoveries and Tennessee with 252 515.

Tests administered: California leads in number of persons tested with 19 918 479 people tested, followed by New York with 15 776 230 people tested, and Texas with 8 849 942 people tested.

How many cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed globally?

Globally, there have been 50 913 451 confirmed cases, 1 263 089 deaths, and 33 289 404 recoveries.
