Global confirmed cases of COVID-19 have surpassed 59 million. We summarize more of today's data from the Johns Hopkins COVID-19 interactive map.

How many cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) have been confirmed in the US?

According to the Johns Hopkins COVID-19 interactive map, as of today, November 24, 2020 at 10:26 AM, EDT, there have been:

• 12 430 825 confirmed cases
• 257 991 deaths
• 4 633 600 recoveries

The 5 states with the highest total confirmed cases are:

1. Texas: 1 159 863
2. California: 1 133 168
3. Florida: 944 745
4. Illinois: 664 620
5. New York: 602 120

Deaths: New York has the most deaths due to COVID-19 with 34 339 reported fatalities, followed by Texas with 21 049 deaths, and California with 18 784.

Recoveries: Texas leads in recoveries from COVID-19 with 917 739 people who have recovered, followed by Tennessee with 296 592 recoveries and North Carolina with 293 555.

Tests administered: California leads in number of persons tested with 22 457 544 people tested, followed by New York with 18 187 840 people tested, and Florida with 11 740 720 people tested.

How many cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed globally?

Globally, there have been 59 373 667 confirmed cases, 1 399 983 deaths, and 38 028 023 recoveries.
