According to the Johns Hopkins COVID-19 interactive map, as of today, September 1, 2020 at 8:28 AM, EDT, there have been:

Deaths: New York has the most deaths due to COVID-19 with 32 957 reported fatalities, followed by New Jersey with 15 945 deaths, and California with 13 021.

Recoveries: Texas leads in recoveries from COVID-19 with 507 499 people who have recovered, followed by North Carolina with 145 884 recoveries and Louisiana with 127 918.

Tests administered: California leads in number of persons tested with 11 373 305 people tested, followed by New York with 8 263 033 people tested, and Texas with 4 961 553 people tested.

How many cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed globally?

Globally, there have been 25 511 385 confirmed cases, 851 352 deaths, and 16 863 597 recoveries.
