According to the Johns Hopkins COVID-19 interactive map, as of today, September 22, 2020 at 10:23 AM, EDT, there have been:
• 199 911 deaths
• 2 615 949 recoveries

3. Florida: 685 439
4. New York: 450 473
5. Georgia: 307 339
Deaths: New York has the most deaths due to COVID-19 with 33 092 reported fatalities, followed by New Jersey with 16 069 deaths, and Texas with 15 127.
Recoveries: Texas leads in recoveries from COVID-19 with 611 856 people who have recovered, followed by North Carolina with 176 422 recoveries and Tennessee with 166 674.
Tests administered: California leads in number of persons tested with 13 672 782 people tested, followed by New York with 9 980 765 people tested, and Texas with 5 622 498 people tested.

Globally, there have been 31 361 979 confirmed cases, 965 642 deaths, and 21 528 674 recoveries.
