According the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), as of July 6, 2021, the 5 states with the highest unweighted proportion of new cases attributed to the SARS-CoV-2 Delta variant are:

1. Missouri: 73.3%
2. Nevada: 39.7%
3. Colorado: 36.3%
4. California: 29.6%
5. New Jersey: 27.6%

How many people in the US have been vaccinated against COVID-19?

According to the CDC, as of today, July 8, 2021, at 3:21 PM, EDT:

• 55.2% of total US population has received at least 1 dose
• 47.7% of total US population is fully vaccinated

The 5 states with the highest percentage of population fully vaccinated are:

1. Vermont: 66.2%
2. Massachusetts: 62.3%
3. Maine: 62.2%
4. Connecticut: 61.4%
5. Rhode Island: 59.6%

How many cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in the US?

According to the Johns Hopkins COVID-19 interactive map, as of today, July 8, 2021 at 2:21 PM, EDT, there have been:

• 33 780 614 confirmed cases
• 606 376 deaths

The 5 states with the highest total confirmed cases are:

1. California: 3 828 338
2. Texas: 3 011 214
3. Florida: 2 381 148
4. New York: 2 118 216
5. Illinois: 1 394 852

Deaths: California has the most deaths due to COVID-19 with 63 806 reported fatalities, followed by New York with 53 719, and Texas with 52 541.

How many cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed globally?

Globally, there have been 185 325 890 confirmed cases, 4 005 635 deaths, and 3 347 835 942 vaccine doses administered.
