According the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), as of July 6, 2021, the 5 states with the highest unweighted proportion of new cases attributed to the SARS-CoV-2 Delta variant are:

1. Missouri: 73.3%
2. Nevada: 39.7%
3. Colorado: 36.3%
4. California: 29.6%
5. New Jersey: 27.6%

How many people in the US have been vaccinated against COVID-19?

According to the CDC, as of today, July 8, 2021, at 3:21 PM, EDT:

• 55.2% of total US population has received at least 1 dose
• 47.7% of total US population is fully vaccinated

The 5 states with the highest percentage of population fully vaccinated are:

1. Vermont: 66.2%
2. Massachusetts: 62.3%
3. Maine: 62.2%
4. Connecticut: 61.4%
