How many cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) have been confirmed in the US?

According to the Johns Hopkins COVID-19 interactive map, as of today, February 25, 2021 at 9:24 AM, EDT, there have been:

• 28 336 782 confirmed cases
• 505 945 deaths

The 5 states with the highest total confirmed cases are:

1. California: 3 549 092
2. Texas: 2 625 123
3. Florida: 1 885 661
4. New York: 1 611 031
5. Illinois: 1 179 250

Deaths: California has the most deaths due to COVID-19 with 50 994 reported fatalities, followed by New York with 47 156, and Texas with 42 831.

Recoveries*: Texas leads in recoveries from COVID-19 with 2 368 008 people who have recovered, followed by Ohio with 897 425 recoveries, and Pennsylvania with 828 570.

Tests administered: California leads in number of persons tested with 47 652 172 people tested, followed by New York with 36 977 757 people tested, and Florida with 21 369 597 people tested.

How many cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed globally?

Globally, there have been 112 668 925 confirmed cases, 2 499 668 deaths, and 63 587 802 recoveries.
