How many cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) have been confirmed in the US?

According to the Johns Hopkins COVID-19 interactive map, as of today, March 19, 2021 at 12:26 PM, EDT, there have been:

• 29 677 422 confirmed cases
• 539 868 deaths

The 5 states with the highest total confirmed cases are:

1. California: 3 634 807
2. Texas: 2 746 196
3. Florida: 1 994 117
4. New York: 1 767 290
5. Illinois: 1 215 992

Deaths: California has the most deaths due to COVID-19 with 57 207 reported fatalities, followed by New York with 49 262, and Texas with 47 049.

Tests administered: California leads in number of persons tested with 51 601 716 people tested, followed by New York with 42 015 555 people tested, and Florida with 23 179 407 people tested.

How many cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed globally?
