According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), as of today December 1 2021, at 4:00 PM, EDT, 21.2% of fully vaccinated persons in the US have received a booster dose of COVID-19 vaccine since August 13, 2021.

How many people in the US have been vaccinated against COVID-19?

According to the CDC as of today, November 12, 2021, at 3:25 PM, EDT:

• 70.4% of total US population has received at least 1 dose
• 59.4% of total US population is fully vaccinated

The 5 states/territories with the highest percentage of population fully vaccinated are:

1. Puerto Rico: 74.1%
2. Vermont: 73%
3. Rhode Island:72.7%
4. Maine: 72.4%
5. Connecticut: 72.1%

How many cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in the US?

According to the Johns Hopkins COVID-19 interactive map, as of today, December 1, 2021 at 5:23 PM, EDT, there have been:

• 48 672 888 confirmed cases and
• 781 712 deaths

The 5 states with the highest total confirmed cases are:

1. California: 5 086 509
2. Texas: 4 340 763
3. Florida: 3 730 395
4. New York: 2 738 968
5. Illinois: 1 815 988

Deaths: California has the highest number of deaths due to COVID-19 with 74 545 reported fatalities, followed by Texas with 73 927 and Florida with 61 548.
