Introducing a New CONSULTANT Series: Derm Match Game

One of your colleagues made this observation after we asked in an online survey what your most challenging clinical problems are-and which ones you’d like to see more coverage of in these pages.

Starting this month on page 585, Ted Rosen, MD, will present a new feature called Derm Match Game. Dr Rosen is professor of dermatology at Baylor College of Medicine and chief of dermatology at Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center in Houston. He is also a member of the editorial board of CONSULTANT.

In this new feature, you’ll find paired photographs of two different dermatological disorders, accompanied by a checklist of clinical features. You are invited to go through the checklists and match the various characteristics with one or both of the disorders illustrated. You can then turn to the discussion section on the following page to find out how well you did. I welcome your feedback about Derm Match Game.
