Flu season 2022-23 sits on the horizon and for the fourth consecutive year will be complicated by cocirculation of the SARS-CoV-2 virus. An increasing concern, too, is the presence of respiratory syncytial virus which while typical for the season has affected more older adults and affected them more severely as pandemic precautions have shifted.
