Patients are usually unaware of lesions that may have developed on their back.

Patients are usually unaware of lesions that may have developed on their back. Thus, I strongly recommend examining patients’ backs once a year for potentially malignant lesions. This takes only a few seconds, and it can be a real lifesaver.
