How many cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) have been confirmed globally?

According to the Johns Hopkins COVID-19 interactive map, as of today, April 22, 2020 at 10:09 AM, there have been:

• 2 585 468 confirmed cases
• 178 845 deaths
• 696 177 recoveries

The US continues to lead with the most confirmed cases of COVID-19 with 826 065 total cases to date, followed by Spain with 208 389 cases and Italy with 183 957 cases.

The US now also leads in number of confirmed deaths (45 134), followed by Italy (24 648) and Spain (21 717). Germany leads in recoveries with 99 400 people who have recovered, followed by Spain with 85 915 recoveries and China with 77 859.

How many cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in the US?

As previously stated, there are now 826 065 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the US as well as 45 134 deaths and 75 682 recoveries.

The 5 states with the highest total confirmed cases are:

1. New York: 258 589
2. New Jersey: 92 387
3. Massachusetts: 41 199
                                  4. California: 35 845
                                        5. Pennsylvania35 339

New York City, New York still has the most deaths due to COVID-19 with 14 887 reported fatalities, followed by Nassau, New York with 1390 deaths and Wayne, Michigan with 1278.
