How many cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) have been confirmed in the US?

According to the Johns Hopkins COVID-19 interactive map, as of today, June 10, 2020 at 11:33 AM, there have been:

• 1 982 264 confirmed cases
• 112 093 deaths
• 524 855 recoveries

The 5 states with the highest total confirmed cases are:

1. New York: 379 482
2. New Jersey: 164 796
3. California: 137 060
4. Illinois: 129 212
5. Massachusetts: 103 889

New York has the most deaths due to COVID-19 with 30 458 reported fatalities, followed by New Jersey with 12 303 deaths, and Massachusetts with 7408.

New York also leads in recoveries from COVID-19 with 67 808 people who have recovered, followed by New Jersey with 28 036 recoveries and Pennsylvania with 53 670.

New York also leads in number of patients tested with 2 605 869 people tested, followed by California with 2 486 245 people tested, and Florida with 1 258 305 people tested.

How many cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed globally?

Globally, there have been 7 277 489 confirmed cases, 412 111 deaths, and 3 402 104 recoveries.
