How many cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) have been confirmed in the US?

According to the Johns Hopkins COVID-19 interactive map, as of today, June 23, 2020 at 10:33 AM, there have been:

• 2 313 445 confirmed cases
• 120 451 deaths
• 640 198 recoveries

The 5 states with the highest total confirmed cases are:

1. New York: 388 488
2. California: 184 716
3. New Jersey: 169 415
4. Illinois: 137 224
5. Texas: 117 790

New York has the most deaths due to COVID-19 with 31 176 reported fatalities, followed by New Jersey with 12 974 deaths, and Massachusetts with 7873.

New York also leads in recoveries from COVID-19 with 69 710 people who have recovered, followed by Pennsylvania with 64 105 recoveries and Michigan with 49 290.

New York also leads in number of patients tested with 3 452 099 people tested, followed by California with 3 411 686 people tested, and Florida with 1 617 487 people tested.

How many cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed globally?

Globally, there have been 9 129 702 confirmed cases, 472 856 deaths, and 4 556 694 recoveries.
