How many cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) have been confirmed in the US?

According to the Johns Hopkins COVID-19 interactive map, as of today, June 9, 2020 at 10:33 AM, there have been:

• 1 963 828 confirmed cases
• 111 139 deaths
• 518 522 recoveries

The 5 states with the highest total confirmed cases are:

1. New York: 378 799
2. New Jersey: 164 497
3. California: 134 029
4. Illinois: 128 415
5. Massachusetts: 103 626

New York has the most deaths due to COVID-19 with 30 417 reported fatalities, followed by New Jersey with 12 214 deaths, and Massachusetts with 7353.

New York also leads in recoveries from COVID-19 with 67 687 people who have recovered, followed by New Jersey with 27 941 recoveries and Pennsylvania with 53 670.

New York also leads in number of patients tested with 2 555 896 people tested, followed by California with 2 431 190 people tested, and Florida with 1 234 550 people tested.

How many cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed globally?

Globally, there have been 7 151 267 confirmed cases, 407 302 deaths, and 3 321 391 recoveries.
