How many cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) have been confirmed globally?

According to the Johns Hopkins COVID-19 interactive map, as of today, May 14, 2020 at 2:33 PM, there have been:

• 4 408 618 confirmed cases
• 300 315 deaths
• 1 576 871 recoveries

The US continues to lead with the most confirmed cases of COVID-19 with 1 401 948 total cases to date, followed by Russia with 252 245 cases and the United Kingdom with 234 431 cases.

The US also leads in number of confirmed deaths (85 066), followed by the United Kingdom (33 692) and Italy (31 368). The US now also leads in recoveries with 243 430 people who have recovered, followed by Germany with 150 300 recoveries and Spain with 143 374.

How many cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in the US?

As previously stated, there are now 1 401 948 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the US as well as 85 066 deaths and 243 430 recoveries.

The 5 states with the highest total confirmed cases are:

1. New York: 340 661
2. New Jersey: 142 704
3. Illinois 84 694
4. Massachusetts: 80 497
5. California: 73 174

New York has the most deaths due to COVID-19 with 27 567 reported fatalities, followed by New Jersey with 9946 deaths and Massachusetts with 5315.
