How many cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) have been confirmed globally?

According to the Johns Hopkins COVID-19 interactive map, as of today, May 27, 2020 at 9:32 AM, there have been:

• 5 618 829 confirmed cases
• 351 146 deaths
• 2 311 404 recoveries

The US continues to lead with the most confirmed cases of COVID-19 with 1 681 793 total cases to date, followed by Brazil with 391 222 cases and Russia with 370 680 cases.

The US also leads in number of confirmed deaths (98 933), followed by the United Kingdom (37 130) and Italy (32 955). The US also leads in recoveries with 384 902 people who have recovered, followed by Germany with 162 800 recoveries and Brazil with 158 593.

How many cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in the US?

As previously stated, there are now 1 681 793 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the US as well as 98 933 deaths and 384 902 recoveries.

The 5 states with the highest total confirmed cases are:

1. New York: 363 836
2. New Jersey: 155 764
3. Illinois 113 195
4. California: 99 810
5. Massachusetts: 93 693

New York has the most deaths due to COVID-19 with 29 302 reported fatalities, followed by New Jersey with 11 194 deaths and Massachusetts with 6473.
