How many cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) have been confirmed globally?

According to the Johns Hopkins COVID-19 interactive map, as of today, May 29, 2020 at 11:32 AM, there have been:

• 5 851 494 confirmed cases
• 361 270 deaths
• 2 445 181 recoveries

The US continues to lead with the most confirmed cases of COVID-19 with 1 725 656 total cases to date, followed by Brazil with 438 238 cases and Russia with 387 623 cases.

The US also leads in number of confirmed deaths (101 706), followed by the United Kingdom (37 919) and Italy (33 142). The US also leads in recoveries with 399 991 people who have recovered, followed by Brazil with 177 604 recoveries and Germany with 164 213.

How many cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in the US?

As previously stated, there are now 1 725 656 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the US as well as 101 706 deaths and 399 991 recoveries.

The 5 states with the highest total confirmed cases are:

1. New York: 366 733
2. New Jersey: 157 815
3. Illinois 115 8334. California: 103 9365. Massachusetts: 94 895

New York has the most deaths due to COVID-19 with 29 529 reported fatalities, followed by New Jersey with 11 409 deaths and Massachusetts with 6640.
