US confirmed cases of COVID-19 number nearly 4.6 million; global cases have surpassed 18 million. We summarize more of today's data from the Johns Hopkins COVID-19 interactive map.
How many cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) have been confirmed in the US?
According to the 
• 154 944 deaths
• 1 468 689 recoveries
2. Florida: 491 884
3. Texas: 448 145
4. New York: 416 298
5. Georgia: 193 177
Deaths: New York has the most deaths due to COVID-19 with 32 710 reported fatalities, followed by New Jersey with 15 836 deaths, and California with 9396.
Recoveries: Texas leads in recoveries from COVID-19 with 282 604 people who have recovered, followed by Massachusetts with 97 595 recoveries and Pennsylvania with 86 328.
Tests administered: California leads in number of persons tested with 8 035 975 people tested, followed by New York with 6 030 935 people tested, and Texas with 3 747 779 people tested.
How many cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed globally?
Globally, there have been 18 117 821 confirmed cases, 690 181 deaths, and 10 739 036 recoveries.
