According to The New York Times COVID-19 database (which uses data from state and local health agencies), as of October 26, 2020 at 9:29 AM, EDT, the 5 states with the most cases in the last 7 days are:

1. Texas: 41 051
2. Illinois: 31 195
3. California: 30 950
4. Wisconsin: 25 740
5. Florida: 23 616

How many cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in the US?

According to the Johns Hopkins COVID-19 interactive map, as of today, October 26, 2020 at 12:24 PM, EDT, there have been:

• 8 653 595 confirmed cases
• 225 330 deaths
• 3 422 878 recoveries

The 5 states with the highest total confirmed cases are:

1. California: 906 918
2. Texas: 893 267
