How many cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) have been confirmed in the US?

According to the Johns Hopkins COVID-19 interactive map, as of today, February 19, 2021 at 11:23 AM, EDT, there have been:

• 27 901 914 confirmed cases
• 493 501 deaths

The 5 states with the highest total confirmed cases are:

1. California: 3 512 111
2. Texas: 2 578 510
3. Florida: 1 849 744
4. New York: 1 568 624
5. Illinois: 1 168 683

Deaths: California has the most deaths due to COVID-19 with 48 259 reported fatalities, followed by New York with 46 436, and Texas with 41 630.

Recoveries*: Texas leads in recoveries from COVID-19 with 2 279 684 people who have recovered, followed by Ohio with 876 697 recoveries, and Pennsylvania with 797 275.

Tests administered: California leads in number of persons tested with 46 504 255 people tested, followed by New York with 35 739 542 people tested, and Florida with 20 843 123 people tested.

How many cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed globally?

Globally, there have been 110 476 945 confirmed cases, 2 445 673 deaths, and 62 243 292 recoveries.
