How many cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) have been confirmed in the US?

According to the Johns Hopkins COVID-19 interactive map, as of today, March 1, 2021 at 9:23 AM, EDT, there have been:

• 28 606 340 confirmed cases
• 513 092 deaths

The 5 states with the highest total confirmed cases are:

1. California: 3 566 914
2. Texas: 2 653 232
3. Florida: 1 909 221
4. New York: 1 643 867
5. Illinois: 1 186 613

Deaths: California has the most deaths due to COVID-19 with 52 158 reported fatalities, followed by New York with 47 615, and Texas with 43 697.

Recoveries*: Texas leads in recoveries from COVID-19 with 2 422 369 people who have recovered, followed by Ohio with 909 524 recoveries, and Pennsylvania with 836 727.

Tests administered: California leads in number of persons tested with 48 469 106 people tested, followed by New York with 38 106 915 people tested, and Florida with 21 761 798 people tested.

How many cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed globally?

Globally, there have been 114 229 598 confirmed cases, 2 533 129 deaths, and 64 487 937 recoveries.
