Voltaire wrote, “The art of medicine consists of amusing the patient while nature cures the disease.” Madeleine L’Engle added, “A good laugh heals a lot of hurts.” And Theodor Geisel-Doctor Seuss-summed it all up: “From there to here, from here to there, funny things are everywhere.”
OK, Doctor Seuss wasn’t a real doctor, but he had the right idea. Laughter, we’re sure, is the best medicine.
