Dr. Bennett Shenker is the Chief and Chair of Family Medicine at Cooper University Health Care and Cooper Medical School of Rowan University. A practicing Family Physician and educator, Dr. Shenker is a leader for primary care across the institution. In addition to his patient care responsibilities, Dr. Shenker teaches medical students and residents, supports department faculty members in a variety teaching roles, promotes clinical quality, and provides mentoring for scholarly activity and research. One of his notable accomplishments was starting a new Family Medicine residency at Cooper. His areas of interest include quality improvement, population health management, and health informatics.
